a rather pleasant surprise arrived today in a form of a parcel which contains a handbag inside. A vintage looking sling bag. :) thank you sweetheart. you are the best. hehe

Summer holidays and my New found love

my holiday has finally over. I just started labs yesterday so my life from now on will revolve around labs. huhu so sad. Whats more sad is that my sister is no longer here so no more jalan-jalan, shopping and all of those random outings. I really miss having a family member around but my younger sister will be here early september so yaye! Another thing to look forward to! :D

I brought my sister around london then we went to paris for two days and it was awesome. We started the day with shopping (of course, anything for retail therapy :p) and it was madness. When we were there, apparently in La fayette they were having some massive sale (which only applied to the residents) so they were a huge influx of people. I remember last year when i went with the parents, it was so quite and peaceful. regardless, we had so much fun and of course, spent so much! lol They next day, we spent the whole day in disneyland and went on most of the rollercoaster. We both acted like a couple of 5 yrs old. :D From paris, we took a train to amsterdam which was a big mistake. It could have been alright if someone didnt steal my luggage. so yes i was left with nothing but what I had on. Luckily all the important documents were in my handbag. And to make it worse, my macbook pro was in that luggage. nda apa lah maybe ada hikmah di sebalik semua ani. At least, I had an excuse to do more shopping hehe

I was browsing through Chictopia when i saw these beautiful babies. There are just simply gorgeous and im currently looking for their retailer in the uk. Hopefully they have them in urbanoutfitters. All i could say, they are simply gorgeous and very summer!

Just shout out is especially for my dear best buddy/housemate, AMAL.

she has had this blog since i dont know forever ago but never actually wrote anything until early feb this year. yes about time amal. She's dedicating this blog to those who loves music, or more like to those people who kept on asking her what music to listen to hehe and her way of expressing her passion for music. :)

the electricity and gas bills are finally here. *horrified face*

Its more than expected. but Its okay ive got them covered. Luckily ive given my share to zir months ago. This is still better than my old house. Actually waaaayyy better. Dulu we even paid as high as 800+GBP. Can u imagine what i can get with that amount of money?! sigh.

On a different note, im going to gym again tomorrow. Then ill be having some friends over for tea/lunch (depending what time they'll come hehe). Ill be showcasing my hidden talent in cooking. yes news flash people! i can cook. Another misconception. May i repeat, i infact can cook. A lot of things actually. Im not just talking about maggi or indo mee or boiling water here. im talking about proper food. yes proper food. sigh. Maybe I should start posting videos of me doing things people does not believe I can do, here.

And another sad note, im also trying to refrain myself from going shopping again. huhu last time i went out i bought unnecessary clothes. ok maybe a slight bit necessary. I was so convinced i 'need' them. LOL hopefully some angels will be nice enough and give me more money. hehe *hint*

ps: The happy news is, I probably have triple the clothes i had when i first came here. :D
